From previous days the marital affairs in favour of men only so because of biased the authority said that not to be biased and because of these the section497 has been legal in India.
The thing is previous days if women are cheating in relationship then the husband can punish those men that they are affairs with there wife but in same case if the husband are cheating with there wife then wife cant punish there girl so all of these things the authority make there decision regarding the extra marital affairs are legal in India. Neither husband can punish there wifes man nor wife can punish there mans girl but if some have genuine reason regarding cheating in relationship then can get divorce from the men or women.
